Born in the chic city of Prague, Veronika has worked in New York, Paris, Prague and Toronto, but settled permanently in Montréal, where she grew up and where she loves the city’s rich culture and beautiful architecture.
As a real estate broker in Toronto’s bustling downtown core for 8 years, Veronika acquired significant skills in a fast-paced real estate market. She then mastered the Montréal and Laurentians markets, which now enables her to successfully guide her international clientele as they sell or acquire properties in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario.
Her solid network of contacts around the globe coupled with her highly collaborative practice allows her to offer a level of service that is quite distinctive in the market.
Veronika’s rigorous and strategic approach is based, among other things, on her experience as an accountant in Montréal and then as a financial analyst on Wall Street. Her financial knowledge is apparent in her real estate advisory practice where she helps clients navigate the financial and tax implications of ownership, disposition of properties and transfer of wealth relating to real estate.
She also learned how to make the numbers speak for themselves and communicate her findings clearly, allowing her to relay economic market trends to her clients in a timely and relevant manner. Her clients value her smart people skills, her ability to develop and execute precise strategies, and her strong analytical and negotiation skills.
To encourage the next generation, Veronika launched a scholarship with Concordia University to support the institution’s real estate program.
In addition to real estate, Veronika is passionate about opera, classical music, art, design, photography and history, all of which blend beautifully with and add value to her real estate endeavours.
Veronika also works as an art consultant for her clients and supports various art organizations including Opera de Montreal, the Canadian Opera Company and Music in the Barns in New York.
With her husband and four children, she divides her time between Toronto, Montréal and Lac-Supérieur, in her century-old home, as well as on the tennis courts in the Laurentian region.
